About Us
Delirium Media is a video production company dedicated to helping small businesses stand out and increase their sales through high-quality visual storytelling. Originally founded in 2005 in Windsor, Ontario, by Derek Kovacevic, the company was born from a desire to work in video production in a city with limited opportunities in the field. Rather than waiting for the right job to come along, Derek created his own path. After a brief hiatus from 2019 to 2024, Delirium Media reopened in Kamloops, BC, in September 2024, with a renewed focus on helping local businesses grow.

Derek Kovacevic – Owner, Delirium Media
Derek Kovacevic is a seasoned video producer and the owner of Delirium Media. Originally from Windsor, Ontario, his journey into media began with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Windsor. He further refined his craft at the Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts in Southfield, Michigan, gaining hands-on experience in radio and television. This foundation led to internships with Palace Sports & Entertainment and Fox Sports Net Detroit, setting the stage for his entrepreneurial path in video production.
With varying levels of activity since 2005—ranging from full-time production to industry work in other fields—Derek’s portfolio is both extensive and diverse. His work includes TV commercials, promotional videos, PSAs, company profiles, and event coverage. One of his standout achievements is a video for Nature Fresh Farms, which has garnered over 7 million views on YouTube. He has also produced content for major brands such as FCA (Chrysler), Best Buy Canada, and Vistaprint.
In 2018, Derek moved to the Vancouver area, expanding his expertise by working in the Film/TV industry as a Set Dresser and background performer. He also worked as a stagehand with IATSE 118, further enriching his production experience. In 2021, he relocated to Kamloops and took on a full-time videographer role at a small company. Following its closure, Derek fully relaunched Delirium Media in September 2024, returning to his passion for helping businesses grow through high-quality video content.
Beyond video production, Derek is an avid hockey fan, paddle boarder, and rock concert enthusiast. When he's not behind the camera, you’ll likely find him exploring the outdoors or enjoying live music.
